We want everyone who comes to our church to find friendship, be equipped to follow Jesus and grow in their love for God and His people.  Homegroups are a vital part of this, and we do encourage everyone to join one.

  • Make sure we grow some good friendships and don’t get lost in the crowd.
  • Explore what the Bible teaches and help us grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.
  • Provide pastoral care, encouragement and prayer for each other.

homegroupEach homegroup is unique, and arranges its own pattern of study, depending on the needs and interests of the group. Some concentrate more on prayer and relationships, others have a stronger focus on studying the Bible and growing understanding.  Some of these groups have begun following on from the Alpha Course, as new Christians become hungry to discover more about their faith and the Bible.

They help Christians grow in confidence about ourbeliefs, and in our relationship with Jesus and with each other.

They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.Acts 2:42, The Bible

Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another. Hebrews 10:24-25, The Bible
